Robaxin relaxes muscles and relieves pain and discomfort associated with strains, sprains, spasms or other muscle injuries.

Ingredients

Methocarbamol 750mg. Inactive ingredients: corn starch, FD&C Yellow 6, hydroxypropyl cellulose, hypromellose, magnesium stearate, polysorbate 20, povidone, propylene glycol, saccharin sodium, sodium lauryl sulfate, sodium starch glycolate, stearic acid, titanium dioxide.

Warning

You should not use this medication if you are allergic to methocarbamol.

Before using methocarbamol, tell your doctor if you have myasthenia gravis.

This medication may impair thinking. Be cautious if you drive or do anything that requires you to be alert. Drinking alcohol can also increase side effects of methocarbamol

Do not use this medication until you have consulted your physician if you are pregnancy or planning on breastfeeding. 

Dosage

Usage initial dosage for adult is 1500mg four times daily. Maintenance dosage is 1000mg four times daily. Six grams a day are recommended for the first 48 to 72 hours of treatment. (For severe conditions 8 grams a day may be administered). Thereafter, the dosage can usually be reduced to approximately 4 grams a day.
